- Position: Special Education Teacher
- Location: Damascus, MD
- Hours:35+ hours per week
- Experience in the following preferred:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education
- Maryland SPED Teaching Certification
- Previous experience in a SPED role is preferred
- Familiar with IEP's and EDP's
- Up to 15 students
- Elementary, 6-8, and High School Opportunities available
- Up to 3 IAs for the program, additional support if needed
- Mild-Moderate & Moderate-Severe caseload
- Teach, work with students, paraprofessionals, families, other staff, take data.
- Update IEP goals, assess students and write up the assessment report.
- Write IEPs, attend IEP meetings, present the assessment results.
