    Senior Project Manager

    Location: Remote, US

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Senior Project Manager will be accountable for a large, diverse, and complex project related to vendor and procurement management. This position relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables.

    • Manages all aspects of projects with direct accountability to the Business Owner and Executive Sponsor.
    • Work with and facilitate processes to accomplish program and project objectives, managing change, and resolving complex issues that span project teams and departments.
    • Plan, organize, direct, and supervise program activities in a standardized, cost effective and productive manner to achieve customer satisfaction.
    • Proactively inform and influence others to maintain the balance required between business needs, project partner strategy and standards, and financial requirements and budgets.
    • Coordinate the activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project budget, task dependencies and schedule.
    • Scope, risk, and issue management, including documenting, communicating, and facilitating resolutions or mitigation plans.
    • Develop, initiate, and manage communication plans, including regular project status reports. Develop root cause analyses and process improvement plans.
    • Maintain all project artifacts.
    • Identify, deliver and document organizational, application and human workflows that contribute to policy and procedure updates throughout each project.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership, management, and stakeholders.
    • Build collaborative relationships with staff and leaders, to support their engagement efforts for the project.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelors degree from an accredited university.
    • 3+ years project management experience in a large corporate environment.
    • Self-starter / independent, okay with ambiguity, ability to lead steering committee / governance groups with senior / executive leadership.
    • Experience with healthcare is a big plus
    • Experience with Medical Devices and their vendors is helpful.
    • Experience with finance and procurement processes is helpful.
