- Assisting with monthly Treasury Reporting and preparing monthly & quarterly Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) reporting packages to ensure compliance with treasury policy parameters.
- Supporting Financial Reporting activities such as annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and management and financial reporting.
- Reporting on the results of ALM Stress Tests covering Liquidity, IRR, EVE, and Capital.
- Aiding in the documentation, implementation, and monitoring of policies, procedures, and practices related to interest rate, liquidity, and funding risk.
- Developing documentation for modeling processes, data management, and enhancements to existing models.
- Implementing automated solutions for data collection and production of risk metrics and treasury reports.
- Conducting data querying, manipulation, transformation, and analysis on extensive datasets.
- Designing, building, and maintaining frameworks for producing summary risk information to be distributed to senior management, the board, and regulators.
- Utilizing system functionalities to enhance existing business processes (systems like ZM Financial, Vena Solutions, Excel, among others).
- Evaluating and resolving issues and errors in systems to ensure data credibility and integrity.
- Developing analytical models to explain changes in asset and liability values, providing attribution and sensitivity analyses to drive performance.
- Conducting back testing of model assumptions to validate and enhance forecasting accuracy.
- Undertaking additional related duties as assigned.
- Holder of a Bachelor's degree in areas such as business, finance, accounting, business analytics, economics, or mathematics.
- 0-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or data analytics.
- Preferably, some background in the banking industry.
- Capable of maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Strong skills in logic-based thinking, mathematics, reasoning, and decision-making.
- Able to formulate and execute basic to complex mathematical formulas and apply accounting principles for analysis supporting decision-making.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Power Point (experience in Tableau / SQL is a bonus).
- Familiarity with Bank Asset/Liability Management concepts and exposure to ALM systems like ZM Desk.
- Understanding of banking and financial markets, with the ability to review bank balance sheets and address key financial and interest rate risks.
