Brief Job Overview/Summary

This job is to provide technical support for instrument maintenance and repair

Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Maintain, calibrate, and service all research and teaching scientific instruments
Perform simple diagnostic and repair procedures of electronic or mechanical problems Schedule and coordinate all necessary manufactures' technical and repair service
Order replacement parts, tools and special equipment, as needed
Assist with gas cylinder inventory

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree, preferably in Chemistry
