ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:

A rotating 40 hour work week, 7:15 am - 4:15 pm; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; 9:15 am - 6:15 pm; Monday through Friday.

May be required to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

Prepare weekly work schedules and review timesheets; handle employee and customer issues; ensure priorities and standards are being met, verify cash, checks and credit card payments; fill out deposit slips; monthly audit the cash, petty cash and cash drawers; ensure documents are being scanned and indexed correctly; secure courtroom coverage; confirm that cases with dates and notices are mailed out on time; prepare weekly status reports; establish trial dockets; provide customer service to internal/external customers; work requires supervising and monitoring performance for a regular group of employees or a work unit including providing input on hiring/disciplinary actions and work objectives/effectiveness, performance evaluations and realigning work as needed.

May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's Degree with five (5) years of directly related experience. A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered. A valid driver's license is required.

Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire.

Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.

Selected applicants must be able to pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test.

Any position that lists a minimum qualification for education level and/or license/certification will require the applicant to provide proof of documentation if selected for hire into the position with the City of Corpus Christi.

This position is classified as Safety Sensitive.
