Description
The Custodian is responsible for general housekeeping, and minor maintenance of the buildings, grounds, and landscaping.

Duties may include but are not limited to, moving equipment and furniture as necessary. Provide floor care, including stripping and waxing, buffing, dust mopping, damp mopping, and carpet care as scheduled. Clean the buildings, including offices, hallways, meeting rooms, and classrooms. Clean, sanitize, and restock the restrooms. Remove the trash in the buildings and deposit it into a container for removal from the campus. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Occasional weekends, as needed.


Salary:
$2,600.00 per month.

Start Date:
May 6, 2024.

Closing Date:
May 1, 2024 or open until filled.

Minimum Qualifications
High school Diploma or GED required. Must have a valid NC Drivers license within 60 days of employment and be insurable at standard rates.

Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, bend, stoop, grasp reach, and stand for extended periods of time.

Must be able to use various cleaning agents to include floor finish, stripper, cleaners, and disinfectants.
