    Opportunity:

    Registered Nurse - PCU

    Job Details:


    • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required - first-time travelers accepted

    • Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics

    • Work on Neuro/Stroke PCU floor with respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical patients

    • Patient ratio: 1:4 with 36 beds and average daily census of 30

    • Titrating cardiac drips required with continuous telemetry monitoring

    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale

    • Unit systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR

    • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs

    • Every other weekend coverage required

    • Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed

    • No call requirements

    • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed

    • RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)

    • Holiday requirements: Work major holidays that fall during assignment period

    • Must have GA or compact license in hand at time of submittal

    • Two supervisory references highly preferred (manager level or above)

    • Full compliance required to start on time

    This healthcare facility features a progressive care unit specializing in neurological and stroke care, along with cardiac and mixed medical services. The facility operates with modern technology including continuous telemetry monitoring and advanced cardiac care capabilities. The organization maintains high standards for patient care with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams.

    Adex Job ID # Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
