Job Summary
The Director of Special Education Legal Compliance serves as a critical support to special populations faculty and school leaders providing guidance in areas of state federal compliance student data systems.+ Qualifications:- Bachelor s degree required
- Master s degree preferred
- 3+ years experience teaching with focus on special education services
- Knowledge of MTSS 504 IDEA eligibility categories under IDEA content standards assessments Federal State Local regulations policies procedures computer operations Microsoft Office Google Suite Outlook email
• Lead manage standardized procedures identifying enrolling tracking students disabilities ensuring adherence IDEA TEA timelines.
• Supervise effective processes procedures New KIPP enrollment students disabilities transfer special education records maintain timely coordination campus-level teams ensure immediately implementation evaluation required state federal law .
• Ensure accurate timely communication campus regional network stakeholders guarantee continuity FAPE including transportation services placement decisions collaboration regional teams self-contained low-incidence programming .
• Implement data validation monitoring systems prevent compliance risks funding loss.
