San Elijo Vine & Tap in San Marcos is looking for one Prep Cook to join our Culinary Team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.

Vine & Tap is a vibrant destination known for its quick service, large volumes, and scratch made recipes. We are looking for a dedicated Prep Cook to help us maintain the engine room of our kitchen.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in kitchen prep or culinary school background
• Follow recipes and prepare simple dishes
• Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
• Weigh and measure ingredients
• Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat, vegetables, cheeses
• Basic cooking functions such as preparing sauces, soups, and dressings
• Label stock and inventory all ingredients
• Ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Team player with a positive attitude

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $ $20.00/hour.
