Description
Capital Project Manager - 1st shift lnb #TalrooResponsibilities include:
Leading and assisting with projects in support of Operations, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory/QA, QC and other groups
Effective use of project management principles to meet success and timing criteria established by customers and consumers
Managing multiple project teams, maintaining documentation and facilitating team work and communication
Monitoring project resources to successfully achieve project goals and timelines
Creating project definition documents in coordination with the Marketing team
Demonstrating the ability to lead teams in identifying and collaboratively solving problems
Key Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum 4+ years of position related experience in Food and Beverage industry
2 years of experience as a project, technical, project/inside sales manager in the Food or Consumable industry desired
Experience demonstrating strong leadership skills, strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills, positive energy and ability to interface effectively across a wide range of functions and levels
Use of current CRM system at all levels
This position may require some travel
This person will be working and reporting to the facility manager. They will be doing the whole process from conception to layout, to budgeting, scheduling and implementation.
Most of the project will be expanding and improving the current process - new packing line, new blender equipment, etc.
They would prefer someone with food industry in their background but more importantly they need to have Mfg planning in their background.
