- Develops computer systems specifications that fit with the government's system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
- Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
- Responsible for installation and maintenance of storage, networking, and server hardware.
- Ensures availability of development systems to end users through continuous system monitoring and issue remediation.
- Applies required security updates and implementations mandated by DoD cyber security regulations.
- Oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job

Our work depends on a TS/SCI Cleared Senior Data Center Engineer joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Wright Patterson, OH.
HOW A SENIOR DATA CENTER ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACTWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 8+ years of related experienceRequires RHEL - Linux administration experience - 3 year or more experiencePreference to administrators experienced in Netapp storage managementPreference to administrators experienced with Cisco switch and networking managementPreference to administrators experienced with ESXI VM managementPreference to administrators experienced with Windows server managementMust have Security+ certification or DoD 8570 Level II equivalent within 90 days of hireTS/SCI Clearance required and eligibility to obtain CI PolyRHEL, Windows, and/or Storage administrationExperience working with trouble reporting and tracking systems such as Security+Ability to respond to after hour calls "provide on-call support"Ability to travel 0-20% to local area sites as well as other locations with similar architecture/footprint.
