- Basic knowledge of transit vehicle operations and maintenance. Previous experience in a transit-related setting, including familiarity with vehicle dispatch procedures.

- Technical Training or Certifications in Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck and Transit Bus or comparable experience with heavy duty vehicle maintenance and repair is desirable, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must obtain a Colorado State CDL Class B license within six (6) months of employment.
- One year of experience in supervision or leading work groups.

Fleet Asset Supervisor: Help Us Keep Our Fleet Moving
This position supervises and directs the activities surrounding EVTA fleet maintenance and usage, ensuring adherence to proper preventative maintenance schedules and enhancing transit vehicle availability. Oversees third party fleet maintenance contracts, ensuring consistent standards of service that align with EVTA needs. Responsible for maintaining records on repairs and maintenance of EVTA equipment, ensuring compliance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regulations, scheduling repairs with additional third-party vendors when needed, and communicating vehicle availability to EVTA Operations staff. Supervises EVTA Fleet Care Technicians, arranging for or providing coverage as needed. Maintains wash bay supplies and equipment, performs light maintenance, repair work, bus fueling operations as needed. Assists with budgeting for capital replacement and transit vehicle procurement.

Driving the Future Forward with EVTA
The EVTA was formed by a vote of the registered electors of the Town of Avon, Town of Eagle, Town of Minturn, Town of Red Cliff, Town of Vail, Beaver Creek Metropolitan District, and Eagle County in the November 8, 2022. The EVTA will assume operation of the existing county-operated ECO Transit system; enhance coordination with local transit systems in Vail, Avon, and Beaver Creek; improve air service; and expand and increase transportation offerings throughout the EVTA service area. The EVTA is governed by an appointed 7-member Board of Directors ("Board").
