Urban Habitat is seeking an experienced Maintenance Enhancement Foreman to add to our team of landscape maintenance professionals in Coachella Valley and beyond.

The Maintenance Enhancement Foreman is responsible for leading enhancement projects within existing maintenance accounts. This role oversees small crews performing landscape upgrades, plant replacements, irrigation improvements, seasonal color installations, and minor hardscape repairs. The Enhancement Foreman ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards while maintaining strong communication with management and onsite Landscape Maintenance Foreman & Irrigation Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a 2–4 person enhancement crew
• Delegate daily tasks and ensure labor budget goals are met
• Train crew members on proper installation techniques and safety standards
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures
• Perform and oversee landscape enhancements including:
• Plant removals and new plant installations
• Tree and shrub replacements
• Mulch, soil, and rock installations
• Read work orders and simple plans accurately
• Ensure proper plant placement, spacing, and installation standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Operate landscape equipment safely (skid steer, trencher, compactor, saws, etc.)
• Ensure proper loading and secure transport of materials
• Maintain tools and report equipment issues promptly

Requirements:

• Availability from Monday-Friday with occasional weekends and overtime as needed
• Ability to load, lift, kneel, and dig as it relates to landscape maintenance and duties
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and work on your feet for long periods of time
• Adherence to company safety standards and policy
• Ability to work in all-weather elements
• Must have great verbal & written communication skills
• Must be able to use of phone, tablet, and email
• Possession of a valid California Class C Driver License with clean driving record
• Bi-lingual in Spanish

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED desired

Desired:

• Past experience as an enhancement foreman or supervisor
• Experience with use of handheld and power tools
• Experience operating heavy equipment
• Certifications or higher education in the landscaping field
