    Position Overview

    Status: Contingent
    • The amount of hours will vary depending on referrals
    • The position requires flexible hours and availability based on the needs of the clients.
    Responsibilities
    • Responsible for completing substance use assessments.
    • Responsible for the timely submission of the required documentation.
    • Responsible for the knowledge and implementation of all rules, regulations, and policies related to child welfare, Medicare, and Medicaid.
    • Capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function.
    • Demonstrates tolerance and respect for the ideas and actions of others.
    • Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program's mission, values, and philosophies
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Master's Degree in Social Work, or comparable human services field from an accredited university.
    • A valid and current LGSW, LCSW, LICSW, or LPC licensure in West Virginia.
    • 2 years of work experience with substance use assessments.
    • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
