    Key objectives include:

  • Implement the roadmap of improvements and changes to the sourcing process
  • Plan and coordinate a sourcing and supplier enablement 'calendar', allocating resources within and across hubs in conjunction with other regional leads to meet demand from GREFP
  • Motivate and support the development of staff and create a positive working climate
  • Evaluate the scope for standardization, harmonization, continuous improvement opportunities related to GEM locations on an ongoing basis by developing an innovation culture
  • Act as the single point of contact for GREFP, representing all TBS Procurement Solutions teams, ensuring the right collaboration and actions are taking place
  • Ensure TBS PS services menu / portal is implemented and operationalized for GREFP
  • Manage, motivate, coordinate and develop staff responsible for sourcing and supplier enablement so that objectives are met, and relationships with every counterpart are developed and maintained.
  • Deliver sourcing and supplier enablement activities for the region
  • Represent TBS Procurement Solutions towards GREFP– addressing the overall requirements and support from a sourcing perspective
  • Develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of service within the region
  • Manage and coordinate resource capacity within and across hubs
  • Lead the hub initiatives for continuous improvement on policies, processes and solutions
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with counterparts within GREFP and TBS fostering value-adding collaborationRequired qualifications:
  • Desirable: Master's in Business Administration
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Procurement or Supply Chain (or related)
  • Proven experience in building and motivating a procurement team
  • High degree of integrity, confidence and self-awareness
  • Confident and persuasive with strong influencing skills; able to win internal support for initiatives
  • Appreciates, understands and effectively negotiates within and across other cultures
  • Customer centric and solutions orientated aptitude with demonstrable experience in providing solutions based on customer needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with evident relationship building with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills with proven success in a highly matrixed, fast paced and challenging business environment.
