    AcclaimMulti-Specialty Group and JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, TX is looking for a dynamicChild and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry.

    TheDepartment is highly collegial, and values evidence-based clinical practice anda commitment to teaching.

    In cooperation with UNT Health Science Center, theChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist will join a team of other C/A psychiatristsand psychiatric nurse practitioner that provide services in conjunction with 2programs under the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium - Texas ChildHealth Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) and the Child Psychiatry AccessNetwork (CPAN).

    CPAN provides real-time telehealth based psychiatric consultations to pediatricprimary care providers across the designated region.

    TCHATT program provides telemedicine or telehealth programs to schooldistricts to help identify and assess the behavioral health needs of childrenand adolescents and provide access to mental health services.

    Coordinates the multidisciplinary care delivered to all patients, to optimize patient care.2. Reviews patient medical charts to diagnose, treat, and provide care management and education to patients and families.3. Makes appropriate patient referrals as necessary.4.

    Monitors guidelines for the management of care and for ensuring the services are delivered in compliance with the guidelines established by JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group.5.

    Provides evidence-based and compassionate care to all patients as assigned to improve patient outcomes and increase patient satisfaction scores. Demonstrates patient centered and patient valued behavior.6. Maintains a collaborative environment with other referring physicians, residents, clinical staff, and support staff to provide quality patient care.7. Supports academic, educational and research endeavors.8. Supervises Advanced Practice Providers as needed.9. Attends Performance Improvement Programs and Peer Review committee meetings; and is an active participant in the process.10.

    Partners and communicates with acumen to build a positive brand and patient/customer experience for those who encounter JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group.

    This would include health network staff, vendors, outside partners, patients, stakeholders, and local community leaders.11. Serves as a resource to the community.12. Performs other job related duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
    • Residency and/or Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

    Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:

    • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas.
    • Board Certification or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
