- Manage field operations for commercial construction projects
- Problem solving ability in the field
- Maintains positive relationships with clients, architects/engineers, and subcontractors
- Firm understanding of client contract requirements
- Partner with the project manager for schedule management, budget, and quality control
- The position will be in the field
- Will likely be stand-alone but can also be a team member on a larger/complex project
- Reports to General Superintendent and/or Operations Manager
Minimum Qualifications - High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 15 years of commercial construction experience
- Demonstrate commercial project experience up to $30M
- Proficient with construction plans and specifications
- Proficient with construction scheduling and planning
- Proficient reading, writing and communication skills
- Competent math and quantity take-off skills
- Basic computer skills
- OSHA 10 Hour certification
- Trade School Certification, Associates degree or bachelor's degree in construction related
- Proficient with Procore and Bluebeam
- Ability to develop Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule and utilize Primavera P6
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification
- ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor Certification
- LEED Accreditation
- Responsible for supervision of all field activities and logistics
- Responsible for schedule input and activity updates to Project Manager
- Responsible for conducting all foreman meetings
- Responsible for conducting all required pre-installation meetings
- Responsible for all compliance inspections with Authorities Having Jurisdiction and client
- Responsible for supervision of self-performed work within approved budget
- Responsible for purchasing of miscellaneous materials within approved budget
- Responsible for quality control and punch list process in the field
- Responsible for project safety and environmental policies in the field
- Responsible for accurate daily project reporting
- Assist the project manager with review of submittals and shop drawings
- Assist the project manager with developing and maintaining material tracking logs
- Assist the project manager with initiating RFI's in the field
- Assist the project manager with validation of subcontractor pay applications and change orders
- Assist the project manager to maintain positive client relationships
- Assist with client warranty calls
- Direct and mentor assistant superintendents
