- On a typical day you will:
- Work with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to grasp functional requirements and implement suitable control solutions
- Develop models for control and diagnostic algorithms using MBD tools like MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, local building codes, and internal company policies
- Verify algorithm functionality and performance using advanced testing techniques like MIL/SIL/HIL testing
- Contribute to the development of model-based design tools, processes, and standard work
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience post-graduation in algorithm development using model-based design methods and tools such as MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience deploying advanced MBD tools and processes
- Deep understanding of the MBD ecosystem and program needs
- Effective communication skills
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience working with ISO 26262 or similar standards
- Experience on Agile teams
