    Job Description

    Triage, interpret, and input orders into computerized medication order system meeting accuracy and productivity standards. Perform drug calculations including basic mathematical conversions. Resolve issues of denials through adjudication and follow-up claims in Point of Sale (POS). Maintain current knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes.

    Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers in accordance with company values. Assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist. Perform other tasks as assigned which can include assisting in any area of the pharmacy as directed by management.

    Responsibilities

    2. Perform drug calculations including basic mathematical calculations (e.g., converting milligrams).
    3. May resolve issues of denials identified through adjudication, and follow-up claims in Point of Sale (POS).
    4. Maintain current knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes.
    5. May produce reports and keep management informed of unpaid claims and claims pending follow-up.
    6. Provides excellent customer service to external and internal customers in accordance with company values.
    7. May assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
    8. Performs other tasks as assigned, which can include assisting in any area of the pharmacy as directed by management.
