Job summary
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as Specialist, Mechanical Designer. This position supports a variety of mission-critical programs with specific focus on EO/IR Sensor packaging design, UHV Dewars, and Cryocoolers.Responsibilities
Create precise 3D models and 2D drawings of IR Sensor components and assemblies Collaborate with engineers to understand design requirements and implement design changes Update and maintain the accuracy of drawings and documentation in accordance with changes in design or manufacturing Ensure that all drawings and models comply with industry standards, company standards, and customer specifications Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) Participate in design review meetings Engineering Review Boards (ERB) Change Control Boards (CCB) Work with Manufacturing Quality control teams troubleshoot issues during production process Run full stack-up analysis GD&T hardware through full assemblies Continuously improve drafting processes procedures increase efficiency quality.Job description
