Description

You will respond appropriately to a high volume of telephone and radio communications to receive and resolve reports in an all hazard environments.

You will obtain the information necessary to dispatch widely dispersed first responder units including police, firefighting, rescue, Emergency Medical Service (EMS), Hazmat and CBRNE resources for emergency and non-emergency situations.

You will extract information, quickly and accurately analyze situations, and choose an effective course of action from reporting parties.

You will maintain a professional demeanor while handling sensitive, provocative, emergency and non-emergency calls/transmissions that may be life threatening in nature.

You will perform multiple tasks simultaneously such as receive, document, and disseminate information accurately in both written and oral forms.
