    ** Position Description**

    **Customer Service Representative** Location **710 Trucking & Transportation-Aromas/San Jose** **Job Summary**

    This position is responsible for sales of Graniterock Trucking to ensure the delivery of short- and long-term goals.

    **Essential Job Accountabilities**

    Comply, understand, and promote Graniterock safety initiatives ensuring Safety before All Else to achieve zero safety incidents.

    Serve as the key customer contact for material orders and delivery quotes

    Provide world class customer service while serving as the key customer contact to respond to customer requests, identify needs, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process.

    Process trucking documentation including truck tags, timecards, Notice of Sales (NOS), hand tags and Product Service Discrepancies (PSD).

    Reconcile daily cash deposits; work with Accounts Payable Specialist to reconcile owner/operator outside hauler payments; reconcile daily Transportation dispatch sheet to daily sales.

    Educate customers on Graniterock materials and trucking services to promote the Company and drive our business.

    **Education and Work Experience**

    High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates degree in business or related field desired

    Some related driving/construction/dispatch experience.

    2-3 years logistics, dispatch or construction transportation experience preferred

    **Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

    Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to interface effectively with coworkers, management and customers.

    Strong customer service, public speaking and presentation skills.

    General knowledge of aggregates and trucking

    Ability to work collaboratively and independently, as well as part of a team.

    Ability to work in high production environment and respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.

    Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

    General understanding of construction site and truck safety requirements.
