Asama Coldwater Manufacturing is hiring a Casting Area Leader to supervise and coordinate production associates within our casting department on 2nd shift.
This role is responsible for safety enforcement, production oversight, quality control, and team leadership in a high-temperature manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do
- Supervise and coordinate production associates in casting operations
- Enforce safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor production schedules, work orders, and output goals
- Inspect materials, equipment, and finished products for quality standards
- Train and mentor associates on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Maintain production, time, and cost records
- Prepare and present verbal and written production reports
- Coordinate activities across departments to meet operational goals
- Recommend improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and performance
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of related manufacturing experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment preferred
- Ability to interpret production schedules, charts, and job orders
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Work Environment
- Regular exposure to high temperatures
- Work near moving mechanical parts
- Occasional exposure to vibration
- PPE required
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing and walking
- Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Occasional reaching, climbing, bending, and pushing/pulling
Shift Details
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Full-Time | Non-Union Position
No travel required
