    Job Summary


    One Postdoctoral Research Scholar position is available in Jiang Lab (Computational Biology & Bioinformatics) at the Center for Gene Regulation in Health and Disease (GRHD) at the Cleveland State University (CSU).

    Jiang's lab applies and develops computational approaches to understand gene regulation in the context of regenerative biology, immune response, and metabolic disorders.

    The primary focus of our group is to develop novel statistical methods and bioinformatics approaches for high-dimensional & multi-level Omics data integration, interpretation, disease risk prediction, and modeling.

    Minimum Qualifications


    • A Ph.
    D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related field.

    • Strong expertise in RNA-seq data analysis and proficiency in relevant bioinformatics tools and software (e.g., RSEM, Bowtie, and Seurat.).
    • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics (e.g., R, Python, or others).
    • Experience with statistical analysis, pathway analysis, and functional annotation of transcriptomic data.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.
    • A strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals is a plus.
    Preferred Qualifications


    • Experience with single-cell RNA-seq data analysis is a plus but not required.
