    We are a multispecialty medical group in the Bronx, providing high-quality and compassionate care to vulnerable residents of New York State. Our integrated clinical divisions offer urgent care, primary care, specialty services, nursing home staffing, and care management.

    We have expanded from a single office to an umbrella organization with specialties from women's health to endocrinology, psychiatry, and more. All services are offered via telehealth or in-person at over 35 medical offices and through our Essen House Calls program.

    Job Summary:

    Position title: Physician Assistant of Gastroenterology

    We seek specialized Gastroenterology Physician Assistants who specialize in gastroenterology and hepatology.

    Responsibilities:

    • Consult with patients about their health concerns.
    • Work with patients suffering from celiac disease, gallbladder disease, chronic pancreatic disease, esophageal cancer, esophageal dysmotility, or GERD on a daily basis.
    • Perform tests to diagnose patients.
    • Treat patients with various pancreatic diseases like Hepatitis B or C, hemochromatosis, autoimmune liver disease, cirrhosis, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, colon cancer, Crohn's disease, and others.
    • Determine proper treatment courses.
    • Consult with primary doctors.
    • Analyze patient historical data.
    • Consult with other Providers, such as oncologists, in cancer cases.
    • Perform X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduated from an Accredited PA Program in New York State.
    • Preferring clinical experience as a PA within the given specialty/service line, but none required.
    • Proficient in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures.
    • Proficient with X-Rays, MRIs, and ultrasound scanning.
    • Aware of details.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills.

    Salary range: $115,000-$130,000
