Salary:
£55,000 – £65,000 (DOE), Plus Excellent Benefits Package

The Role:

Our client is a large engineering company who are part of a joint venture which is delivering Anglian Water's capital investment programme valued at over £1.8bn over the next five years.

They are recruiting for a Backend Engineer to join their team which has recently been created with a goal of establishing consistent and high-quality data structures and developing a platform to make engineering more efficient and effective.

They are looking for someone who has a passion for organising and maintaining data, with experience of Git, C#.Net for .Net Framework and Net core language.

Knowledge with PostgreSQL would also be beneficial.

Their preference is for someone who has a BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject, Autodesk Forge API experience and Bentley products API experience.

It would be beneficial if you had Knowledge of engineering and/or water industry practices and knowledge of Microsoft packages and power apps.

Key responsibilities will include:
Management of backend data repositories
Develop and maintain robust code
Manage and maintain dependencies
Build RESTful APIs
Work closely with the Front-End Engineer to ensure the applications work effectively
Work with others across the business to understand their specific requirements
Organising and maintaining data

Experience:
