    Urgently seeking an LVN in Riverside, CA - We are partnered with one of California's biggest healthcare organizations


    Title:
    Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)


    Dept:
    Ambulatory Care Department - Covid Infusion Therapy team


    Site:
    Riverside


    Length:
    13 weeks contract (with option for hire/long term)


    Rates:
    $29 - $36


    Hours:
    7:30a – 5:00p (sometimes will close at 5:30 or 6:00p depending on last patient)

    o needs to be flexible to start at 7:30, 8:00, 8:30 and stay until closing when as needed
    o In the beginning, expect to work every other weekend (Sat & Sun). Eventually will go to every other Sun


    Job Overview:
    The selected candidate's primary responsibility will be administering flu shots and COVID vaccinations.

    *Working in the COVID infusion therapy team.
    *IV therapy 3 days per week
    *Mornings: covid infusions / Afternoons: messaging and follow-ups with Covid patients
    *Assist in Oncology dept with chemo so it is vital for nurses to be cross trained.
    *Crossed-trained for high volume outreach when low on infusion appointments
    *Telephone and Communication skills are critical


    Required:


    • Min 2 years experience
    • Timely and consistent attendance is essential for this team.
    • Must be reliable and customer service oriented with good verbal communication skills
    • Because Covid is in flux with surges (they're going thru a surge currently),
    • new hires can expect to work 40 hours/week, depending on the Covid need, hours can be 32 and maybe sometimes 24 (infrequent)
    • Nurses must be willing to be cross-trained to do other work; someone who will pivot where s/he is needed
    • Need to be computer savvy
    • Ability to multi-task

    • Must have active BLS (ACLS or PALS not needed)

    • Must have active IV Therapy Cert
