Job summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Import Logistics Coordinator to manage theday-to-day movement of our international shipments.Key Responsibilities:
- Shipment Tracking & Status Updates: Monitor transportation portals daily to gathercurrent status info and maintain our internal tracking sheets with real-time data.
- • Documentation & Customs Support: Prepare and file ISF (Importer Security Filing)accurately. Organize commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading for customsbrokers.
- • Last-Mile Coordination: Issue Delivery Orders (DO) to truckers and brokers. Scheduledelivery appointments with warehouses and proactively collect Proof of Delivery (POD)to close out files.
- • Cost & Financial Monitoring: Monitor Demurrage and Detention timelines to help thecompany avoid unnecessary storage fees. Identify pending invoices and notifymanagement when payments are required.
