    POSITION PROFILE:

    Provides for all set up, breakdown and storage of tables, chairs, dance floors, decor and special equipment for special functions at the Farm.

    Using prescribed checklists maintain all assigned areas in a clean and organized manner for both routine and deep cleanings per schedule.

    Assists with other assigned tasks during and after events as needed. Strives to model the Pursell Farms core values in the completion of their work.


    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:

    Review BEO with the Banquet Manager in a timely manner and set up room as indicatedEnsure all chairs and linen are available, clean and in excellent condition and placed as prescribedMaintain an accurate inventory of tables, chairs, linen and supplies and report any damaged items, need for additional items or need for replacement of worn or damaged materialsHelp to assemble any temporary structures such as dance floors, podiums, audio visual equipment, or dcor as requestedAssist with transport of food, equipment and supplies from one venue to another on propertyDuring event, be available to assist servers, transport tables or equipment, report any maintenance issues and provide any assistance to banquet guests as requestedOversee the breakdown of tables, chairs and equipment after event concludes, ensuring that all materials are returned to their proper storage place.

    Note and report any damaged or missing items.
    Sweep, damp mop, spot clean floors after each event. Treat spots or scratches with appropriate products. Observe for and wipe away any scuffs on bars, floor boards, walls, etc. with appropriate product. Complete monthly deep cleanComplete high cleaning to prevent cob webs, dust or other buildup.

    Clean all windows and glass surfaces to be free of spots, streaks or finger printsAssist with the removal of any trash or miscellaneous items and return venue to cleaned and ready for the next event status.

    Perform all other tasks as assigned.


    Education:

    DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
    High School graduate or equivalent GEDPrior experience working in a restaurant or resort environment preferredSkills and Abilities: Ability to lift and move furniture, linen, equipment and other event materials independently and in a safe and secure mannerAbility to assess and report any damaged or missing itemsAbility to problem solve and offer solutions in a stressful and time sensitive environmentCommitment to work in a safe and careful way at all timesAbility to provide excellent and consistent customer service to guests and coworkers at all timesWillingness to work flexible schedule and long hours depending on event needsAbility to understand and follow detailed instructions
