- Performs, as an engineering assistant, non-repetitive assignments, and decides on the method and sequence of work.
- Operates relatively autonomous within procedures, methods and techniques.
- Information on assignments is not always complete and leaves some scope for own interpretation; makes own choice of approach and chooses from known solutions based upon technical knowledge.
- The existing procedures give direction on critical points and indicate a processing sequence.
- Design and document minor electronics and cable assemblies.
- Utilize various electronic test equipment, such as meters, oscilloscopes and power supplies.
- Perform minor soldering and electronic repair.
- Troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies to the component level
- Develop and document test processes for electronic equipment.
- Experience: 2-5 years professional experience.
- Education: Associates/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent unless otherwise specified.
- Integrating system parts and putting them into service as a functioning system in accordance with the specifications.
- Analyzing and interpreting mechanical, optical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and software test results and identifying and remedying failures.
