    First Choice Health Centers is looking for a Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our center and provide high quality care to our patients and be a mentor and guide to our mid-level Providers. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, as well as collaborating with other specialists and staff. You will also have the opportunity to participate in educational activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.

    This position is located in East Hartford, CT. The Medical Director Role is 20% admin and 80% clinical time in structure.

    Experience and Training:

    • D. or D.O. Degree from an accredited Medical School
    • Family Medicine/Internal Medicine residency trained from an accredited institution
    • Board Certification or board eligible
    • A valid license to practice medicine in the state
    • A valid controlled substance license and DEA license
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • A desire to work with the underserved population
    • A commitment to ethical and professional standards
    • BLS Certification
