    This role is pivotal in building and maintaining our in-house container service using Kubernetes, reflecting our commitment to innovative, efficient, and resilient infrastructure solutions.

    In this role, you will collaborate closely with multiple technical teams and product owners.

    Youll play a pivotal role in connecting the dots between the intricate physical topology and the specialists focusing on infrastructure as code.

    The Principal DevOps Engineer will spearhead the development of our bespoke container service, leveraging Kubernetes to ensure scalability, efficiency, and security.

    This hands-on Technical leadership role requires a strategic thinker passionate about driving innovation and operational excellence within our DevOps practices.

    This position is fully remote-friendly, with an appreciation for occasional in-person gatherings when circumstances permit.

    Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, focusing on high availability, scalability, and resilience requirements.
    Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment processes for containerized applications.
    Implement proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to manage the health and performance of services.
    Work closely with development teams to enhance application deployment strategies, promoting a culture of DevOps across the organization.
    Solve system issues across platform and application domains, offering critical expertise and support.
    Stay updated with cloud technologies and trends, advocating for and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our infrastructure.
    Mentor and develop junior DevOps team members, encouraging a culture of learning and improvement.
    Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

    Over 7 years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, or software engineering, with significant achievements in container infrastructure and Kubernetes.

    Expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster management, Helm, and Kubernetes networking.
    Profound knowledge of container technologies (Docker, container d) and orchestrators.

    Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack).Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Github, CI, CircleCI), etc.

    Deep understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS, GKE).Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead in a dynamic environment.

    Qualifications RequiredOver 7 years of experience in DevOps, systems administration, and or software engineering, with significant achievements in container infrastructure and Kubernetes3+ years of experience with public cloud servicesExperience with OpenStack environments is preferredWant to know more about what we stand for?     The base salary range for this position is $194, $218,00.00. Range shown in $USD for US residents. In Canada, the range is $184, $ 207,300.00 CAD. Other countries will differ.
