Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client a General Contractor is searching for a Construction Project Engineer

Day to Day:

• Support Project Manager on all pre

-construction activities such as review of bid documents, existing site conditions, construction schedule.

• Working with all project documentation in partnership with project team, architects and engineers, and on

-site contractors.

• Working closely with prime contractors on the day

-to
-day operations of construction sites.
Participates in on
-site meetings taking notes for clients on project schedule, safety and quality of work.

• Schedule and manage 3rd party safety inspections, and audit contractor safety procedures.
• Work with Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure client costs, construction quality, and construction schedule met client requirements.

:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Related Field
• 1+ years of experience or participant in an accredited university Co
• Op program or other related experience
• Computer Skills; proficient in MS office. Experience with Procore & Scheduling software is a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate professionally
• Ability to read and explain construction plans and specs.
