- Manage and train kitchen staff on food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Monitor kitchen inventory and place orders for necessary supplies
- Create and adjust employee schedules to meet business demands
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and maintain cost-effective menus
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of inventory, sales, and labor data
- Handle guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Familiarity with inventory management and cost control procedures
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification is a plus
