    Description


    The Vice President of Finance is a key member of the senior team who will provide strategic and thought leadership as the business continues to grow profitably.

    In owning the Finance function, the VP of Finance is responsible for leading all aspects of strategic and operational finance, and owns the accounting operations for our Personalization Brands.

    This position is responsible for delivering the annual budget, long-range planning process, monthly financial close, re-forecasting and analysis of financial & operational results.

    This position will partner with leaders throughout the business including Marketing, Operations, Sales, Merchandising, IT, Engineering, and HR to provide financial oversight, analyze performance/trends, develop short-term/long-term financial plans, and provide financial analysis for strategic growth initiatives.

    This position reports to President of Personalization Brands, a division of 1-800-, Inc.


    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
    Direct the overall financial planning & analysis function including partnering with the senior team to identify, size and prioritize strategic growth initiatives
    Coordinate and direct the preparation of the yearly budget and long-range planning
    Analyze financial information and provide strategic recommendations that help attain the short-term and long-term goals of the organization
    Review analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives and partners with leaders in those areas to ensure attainment of goals
    As a member of the senior leadership team, contribute to senior level policy decision making and long-term planning to facilitate the achievement of objectives and goals
    Direct the inventory control functions of the organization including physical inventory, monthly cost of goods processing, labor roll-forward by production area and monthly G/L to physical inventory reconciliation
    Oversee the coordination of treasury, tax, and audit activities with Corporate Finance and meet all enterprise reporting timelines
    Manage reporting for the quarterly and year-end audits
    Collaborate with other brands' financial leadership to leverage best-in-enterprise practices and synergize activities
    Maintain and improve financial and accounting system controls and standards, ensuring timely financial and statistical reports for management and/or Board use
    Meet all SOX, PCI, Information Security, and other enterprise-wide compliance requirements
    Ensure integrity and control of critical systematic and interactive processes from which financial data is generated
    General office administration and oversight
    Management and development of teams


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting
    10-15 years accounting experience in an E-Commerce and Manufacturing environment
    Demonstrated experience with designing and implementing cost accounting processes, experience migrating to FIFO accounting a plus
    Microsoft GP experience preferred
    CPA preferred
    Bottom-line oriented, budget-conscious, and metrics-driven to establish, design and implement internal controls and systems for tracking and reporting
    Highly creative, proactive, flexible, and able to drive/guide change; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
    Strong leadership, management, and people skills to develop and grow teams
