    Overview:

Gilbane is seeking a Project Engineer III - Agency/CM to obtain, evaluate, coordinate and distribute the information and authorizations necessary to construct the project on time, within budget and the quality specified. In the performance of this function, the Project Engineer III -Agency/CM is responsible for promoting the interests of both the business and client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a mid-level leader. This role will sit primarily on the job site, with occasional travel to the office for trainings, meetings, etc.

    Responsibilities:
    • Successfully manage the change management process
    • Participate and runs effective meetings, sets agendas, and establishes action items
    • Successfully adhere to the project controls procedures and works with client to strategize and deliver effective electronic turnover packages.
    • Train others in RFI and submittal reviews and document postings.
    • Proactively seek to identify internal resources to enlist in, establish and implement procedures and elevates to appropriate parties
    Qualifications:

    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

    • BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
    • 4+ years plus with Agency-CM/CM/General Contractor organization
    • Experience with Division of the State Architect (DSA) projects preferred community college or K-12
    • Or equivalent combination of education and experience

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES

    • Proven capability to execute multiple duties and responsibilities efficiently
    • Demonstrated ability to train, motivate and supervise interns
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Strong verbal and written skills

    Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For California, this ranges from $ $109,400.00, plus benefits and retirement program.
