    The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting to add to our substitute custodian pool for the day and evening shifts.

    Under general supervision, the Custodian maintains assigned buildings and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
    Work hours/locations vary by assignment.
    Minimum qualifications include six (6) months of experience performing general custodial work OR completion of formal custodial training.

    A valid California Class C driver's license is required as travel from SDCOE to various locations throughout the county may be required in order to perform assigned tasks.

    It is important to note to become a substitute/limited-term employee, there will be a fingerprinting requirement that currently costs $77 (this is an up-front, out-of-pocket cost that must be paid in the form of a money order or cashier's check).
