- Responsible of ensuring all regulations and paperwork are being met to keep DOT, MC, ARB and any other regulatory paperwork is up to date (California and Texas).
- Monitor all maintenances of trucks, trailers and refer units and schedule repairs as needed
- Audit / monitor drivers and trucks using company surveillance systems
- Manage on time pick-up and delivery by tracking and tracing loads
- Schedule or dispatch drivers and equipment to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using Zello or mobile phones.
- Oversee all communications, including the timely return of phone calls, emails, and customer, partner, and internal inquiries
- Advise drivers and the operations team about traffic problems, such as construction areas, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, or other hazards.
- Work closely with customers and motor carrier partners concerning cargo status and/or obtain customer information necessary to complete delivery, along with service delays and general questions
- Effectively manage customer issues and complaints to resolution, as necessary.
- Timely communication is provided to each internal department to address issues and /or complaints.
- Manage the day-to-day process, including collection and regular audit of documents.
- Consistently meets or exceeds the performance goals established for the position
- Other duties as dictated by business needs and assigned by management
- Must have an active Class A License with at least 2 years of experience.
- Must have 1 year experience with Reefer trailers and bobtails, and other refrigerated goods
- Must have 1 year experience of dispatching and creating driver schedules
- Must have 1 year experience processing and reviewing paperwork for DOT, FMCSA, and other similar regulatory agencies.
- Must have 1 year experience in the logistics sector or similar job responsibilities
- Must be able to use Samsara or other similar software
- Open to travel to other locations as needed
- Be able to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30 pounds
- English and Spanish language proficiency
