    Description

    Position Summary:

    • Responsible for the fulfillment and shipment of sales orders.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Receives, reviews, and enters orders into Order/Inventory system for customer and internal orders for products, parts, and services.
    • Use dedicated software to check inventory levels, review order accuracy, and produce reports.
    • Prints and distributes pick tickets to the Warehouse for picking of order items.
    • Fulfills order items in Order/Inventory system and generate packing lists.
    • Coordinates special shipping requirements with CSM/Sales Rep.
    • Requests shipping quotes from carriers; selects carrier/method of delivery.
    • Schedules shipments according to established guidelines to ensure that delivery is made by promised dates.
    • Provides order backup to Accounts Receivable team necessary for accurate invoicing of customer including order worksheet, shipping charges, serial numbers and pertinent communications.
    • Acts as an expediter to resolve delivery problems.
    • Maintains and develops positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity.
    • Participate in daily team meetings and provide updates on assignments.
    • Provide backup to other Fulfillment teams as needed (purchasing, receiving, RMA, inventory teams, etc).
    • Other duties as needed.

    Job Qualifications

    • Associate degree or equivalent work experience with order processing, fulfillment, and shipping.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Embrace change and adapt effectively in response.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Basic knowledge and understanding of order processing and shipping procedures.
    • Ability to establish and maintain business relationships with internal and external partners.
    • Ability to analyze problems, identify potential solutions and identify preventive measures.

    Physical Demands:

    Prolonged activity occurs while sitting at a desk at the computer/phone. There may be intermittent physical activity including walking and standing. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

    Working Environment:

    This position is typically in an office environment with ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in an office environment. In addition, some time is spent in a warehouse environment with some exposure to dirt and heat.

    The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000. This placement is dependent upon alignment with the role. This role is eligible for full benefits, listed in the job description, that will also be gone over during your initial recruiter conversation.
