    Duties


    Responsible for developing, coordinating and maintaining an integrated system of Budget Execution via the Financial Management Information System (FMIS) for the entire Federal BOP which consists of Central Office (Headquarters), six (6) Regional Offices, two (2) Law Enforcement Training Centers, and 100 field installations.

    Responsible for monitoring the results of budget execution and formulation input from Central Office Administrators, Regional Comptrollers, and in coordination with the Controller of the Management & Specialty Training Center.

    Responsible for the formulation of Annual Budgets for all BOP facilities using the established equity formulas by management program area (i.e.

    Food Service, Medical), and coordinating with Facilities Staff (Headquarters & Regions) the Annual B&F Budget requirements in the FMIS System.

    Provides technical assistance to BOP field installations in maintaining the Financial Management Information System (FMIS) and responsible for future development of enhancements to the system.

    Responsible for the continued development, revision, and implementation of the BOP policy relating to the FMIS system (Distributed Budget Module - Manual).
