    Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - Hematology Oncology in Pontiac, MI

    As a key provider, you'll be responsible for managing outpatient hematology and oncology patients, participating in tumor board discussions, and supporting a multidisciplinary team. This role ensures continuity of care for patients while allowing you to utilize your specialized skills in a collaborative environment.
    Required Skills:
    • Proven expertise in outpatient hematology and oncology care
    • Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
    • Ability to participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary team meetings
    • Strong communication and patient interaction skills
    • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume outpatient clinic
    • Valid medical license and board certification in Hematology and Oncology
    Nice to Have Skills:
    • Experience with infusion centers and onsite CBCs
    • Prior work in a multidisciplinary outpatient practice
    • Familiarity with oncological procedures and treatments
    • Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
    Preferred Education and Experience:
    • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
    • Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Oncology
    • Minimum of 2 years of outpatient hematology and oncology experience
    Other Requirements:
    • Coverage dates from January 19, 2026, to July 31, 2026
    • Availability to work on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
    • On-call coverage for clinic patients as needed
    • Reliable transportation; car, fuel, mileage, and hotel expenses covered up to $150 cap
    • Ability to provide malpractice insurance
    • Must adhere to vaccination and credentialing requirements
