    Patient Service Coordinator/Medical Assistant

    Job Description:
    Are you ready to be the friendly face that patients see when they visit the clinic? We are looking for a Patient Service Coordinator/Medical Assistant to ensure that every patient has a positive and confidential experience at our clinic in Greenspring Station.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Contribute to the smooth operation of the clinic by directing patient flow and ensuring timely placement in exam rooms.
    • Provide exemplary customer service to patients, physicians, and internal customers.
    • Record and maintain accurate patient information.
    • Assist in preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
    • Operate clinical equipment under physician's guidance.
    • Recognize and respond to emergency situations following clinic guidelines.
    • Stock and maintain exam rooms with supplies.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Medical Assistant certification/registration required.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • 1 year of customer service experience.

    Details:
    • Classified Title: Patient Service Coordinator/Medical Assistant
    • Starting Salary Range: $28.50 hourly ($50,000 targeted; Commensurate with experience)
    • Employee Group: Full Time
    • Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
    • Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
    • Location: JH at Greenspring Station
    • Department Name: SOM Oto Clinic
    • Personnel Area: School of Medicine
