    Medical Surgical Clinical Faculty-Part Time
    Greensburg Nursing – Pennsylvania-Greensburg –

    The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing at Greensburg is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct clinical instructors with expertise in medical surgical/critical care nursing for the spring semester, beginning January 2024.

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Master of Science in Nursing; DNP or PhD preferred

    · Candidates without a graduate degree may be considered when fully qualified faculty are not available and shall teach under guidance of another qualified faculty member in the department

    · Candidates without a graduate degree in nursing shall have a baccalaureate degree in nursing AND evidence of a plan for obtaining a graduate degree in nursing within a 5 year period

    · A current, unencumbered RN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

    · Clearances and background checks are required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.

    · Recent clinical experience in medical surgical/critical care nursing care is required

    · Clinical teaching experience is preferred
