- identifies appropriate areas for skill development/maintenance and/or therapy.
- Develops skill development programs to be implemented by the direct support staff under the supervision of the Speech and Language Pathologist.
- MAY provide individualized speech and language therapy.Typically,this communication training teaches appropriate social interaction skills or choice making as well as the use of verbal communication manual signs symbols augmentative or electronic devices or picture wallets for communication purposes.
