    Jay's Automotive currently has two locations in El Paso. We have been in business since 1976

    Compensation starts at $37k per year plus bonuses.

    Auto Mechanic / Auto Technician
    Jay's Automotive is seeking EXPERIENCED Automotive MECHANICS. We are an 8-bay VERY busy repair shop, our staff is very important to us, and we have and believe in family values, and are a favorite of El Paso We are also a progressive shop that keeps up with technology and require continued education, which we pay for, because we desire for you to become the best "YOU" possible. Adding skilled, driven, and motivated Auto Technicians / Mechanics to our family is our mission right now You MUST have recent auto and light truck repair and diagnostic experience.

    Auto Technician/Mechanic Benefits:

    Auto Technician/Mechanic Requirements:
    • 5 Years Experience working in an ACTUAL mechanic/repair shop. Must provide proof.
    • ASE certification is required after you are hired because we want everyone to know you are a professional
    • Clean Driving Record.

    Auto Technician/Mechanic Responsibilities:
    • Perform multi-point digital vehicle inspection on all vehicles.
    • Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotation, transmission flushes, air conditioning recharges, front-end alignments, battery, headlight, and taillight installations.
    • Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices.
    • Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers' problems and provide accurate repair recommendations.
    • Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness.
    • Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
