    Position Information:
    Location: Hodges, SCDomestic relocation is available for this position

    Role Definition:

    The Facilities Engineer will ensure that routine facility utility processes are carried out in the safest, time-efficient, and most cost-effective way.

    This is typically achieved through the review, modification, design, and implementation of new or existing processes/procedures.

    This role will have direct responsibility for a range of facility infrastructure needs - such as HVAC, electrical engineering, environmental, energy, maintenance process, and civil engineering.

    In this role, collaboration with other specialists such as manufacturing engineers, production leadership, and EHS professionals will ensure the smooth running of the facility.


    Responsibilities:
    Plan and allocate resources for facilities projects.
    Review and monitoring of current processes to optimize efficiency.
    Troubleshooting simple and challenging issues with the plant utility systems.
    Write internal standard operating procedures (SOP)Identify and implement facility improvements and installation projects.

    Design of new electrical and mechanical solutions, processes, or procedures across the facilityResponsibility to ensure plant utility systems meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements.

    Maintain accurate documentation to ensure full compliance.

    Effective Communications:
    Working knowledge of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors

    Problem Solving:
    Working knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations

    Engineering - MFG:
    Working knowledge of processes, techniques, and methods of engineering in a manufacturing environment; ability to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems, and processes that safely realize a desired objective or invention

    Troubleshooting Technical Problems:

    Working knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.

    Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and conveyance systems.
