Due to the continued growth of our business, we are seeking an experienced maintenance technician to support our 2nd shift operations (Monday through Friday).

Incumbent must be willing to train on 1st shift (Monday - Friday)

for approximately 6 to 10 months prior to transitioning to assigned shift.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct routine audits of premises and equipment.
2. Perform preventative maintenance.
3. Repair and maintain plant equipment (electrical and mechanical).
4. Oversee and collaborate with contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
5. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and correct them.
6. Review for parts availability and order accordingly, with approval
7. Understands and follows housekeeping and company safety guidelines and procedures.
8. Flexible to work overtime and weekends, as necessary.
9. Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

Completion of one (1) year of vocational or technical school and 1-year related experience and/or equivalent education, training, and experience in job-related activities.

Basic understanding of ladder logic and electrical motor drives and controls.

Able to read electrical or mechanical blueprints and diagnose problems.

Demonstrate effective team and interpersonal skills.

Reliable attendance.

Self-motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to change.
