    About the RoleProNexus is looking for a Director of Revenue Cycle to join our Firm and help support our clients.

    The Director of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for accurate, appropriate and timely recognition of revenue across all service lines for hospital/healthcare client(s).

    In this role your responsibility will include patient, resident and client billing, patient access, financial clearance, pre-registration and authorization, collections, revenue integrity, charge capture and charge reconciliation, and CDM maintenance.

    Responsibilities include planning and organizing key initiatives including revenue management, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will direct and oversee staff and maintain knowledge of current events and innovations to enhance the revenue cycle.

    This position will also work collaboratively with our clients physicians, nursing staff and health information staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in coding, clinical documentation, and denials and appeals.


    Key Responsibilities:
    1.

    Overseeing Revenue Cycle Operations:
    Directing and supervising all aspects of the revenue cycle process, including patient access, financial clearance, billing, collections, charge capture, and compliance

    2 Strategic Planning:
    Developing and implementing strategic initiatives to optimize revenue cycle performance, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

    3 Staff Management:
    Leading and managing a team of revenue cycle professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to organizational goals

    4 Financial Management:
    Forecasting and managing financial budgets for revenue cycle departments, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective operations

    5 Compliance:
    Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards

    6 Customer Satisfaction:
    Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction for both internal and external stakeholders, including patients, residents, clients, and healthcare providers

    7 Performance Monitoring and Improvement:
    Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess revenue cycle performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed

    8 Collaboration:
    Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including physicians, nursing staff, health information management, and finance departments, to optimize coding accuracy, clinical documentation, and reimbursement processes

    9 Continuous Learning and Innovation:
    Staying abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and innovations in revenue cycle management, and implementing relevant strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness

    10 Communication:
    Effectively communicating with senior leadership, departmental managers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on revenue cycle performance, challenges, and initiatives

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare/Business Administration, or related field.


    Experience in Revenue Cycle Management:
    Three(3)
    • Five(5) years required Ten(10) preferred.

    Strong Reimbursement knowledge required Strong Billing knowledge required Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

    Strategic mindset, with the ability to anticipate market trends, assess risks, and develop proactive strategies to drive financial success. Experience in a customer service role / client facing, public accounting, consulting or advisory roles is advantageous.
