Job summary
Maintain daily logs of metrics gathered for water quality tests boiler function safety checks and chemical usage Provide support for coworkers contractors vendors project managers engineers and others as necessary to support project and renovation work Safely operate maintain all mechanical systems steam pressure heating systems water systems ventilation systems refrigeration equipment solvent system Perform service preventive maintenance on chillers circulating pumps control valves Makes necessary repairs or arranges for same Monitor log readings of high pressure boilers chillers cooling towers pumps and related equipment Assist plumbing HVAC journeyman in install repair of boiler house equipment if needed Operate maintain repair boilers auxiliary equipment including water RO system boiler controls electric pneumatic heating ventilating units where maintenance can be performed with unit in place piping at unit Gain familiarity with Utility Monitoring System to monitor control trend performance of plant equipment example BAS.
