Position Summary:

The main role of the First/Surgical Assist position is to support surgeons and RNs during operations. The primary function of the First/Surgical Assist is to aid the Surgeon.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Associate degree preferred
• Basic life support (BCLS) required within 30 days of hire
• Certification as Surgical/First Assist at the time of hiring
